CMRC’s Craft Station at Civil War Living History Days
May 21 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Each year on the weekend before Memorial Day, the Milton House Museum hosts Civil War Living History Days – a two-day celebration of this period in US history. Abraham Lincoln will open and close the weekend festivities which also include historical tours, technical demonstrations, and kid’s activities. Most activities are FREE. Some require a small fee.
This year, CMRC volunteers will be teaming up with staff from the Milton House Museum to host a music-focused Craft Station – the craft station is FREE. Kids will be making egg shakers that they can use to keep the beat at a song session hosted by a special guest at 12pm noon. We hope to see you there! It is a fantastic weekend where history comes alive.
