Eyes to the Sky: Life-Sized Constellation String Art
October 4 | 8:00 am – October 31 | 11:00 pm
Have you ever wished you could walk amongst the stars? Well now you can!
October is the beginning of some great star-gazing opportunities for families because you don’t have to wait until 9 or 10pm to check out the night sky. Museum volunteers re-created three autumn sky constellations – Pegasus, Cassiopeia and Triangulum – as life-sized string art. Check out their history on posted signs and see if you can spot them in the sky.
This installation is a collaboration between the Children’s Museum, the Hedberg Public Library and the Janesville Parks and Recreation Divisions. You can see it on the lawn between the Hedberg Public Library and the Janesville Performing Arts Center (JPAC).
