Museum on Wheels – Janesville Farmers Market

Join us for our inaugural Museum on Wheels event! Instead of the monthly PLAY Kit Stops that we brought to you in 2022, we are hosting quarterly ‘Museum on Wheels’ events that will be more interactive and have various on-site activities that are bigger, better, and more authentic to our hopes for a future museum. We’re so excited to bring you this new event format!

For our first event, we are partnering with the Janesville Winter Farmers Market, hosted at Uptown Janesville (formerly the Janesville Mall). C’mon down to Center Court to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a little early as we learn about Irish folklore, history, and its ties to Rock County. “Drive” the snakes out of Ireland just like St. Patrick with a round of mini golf. Take a stroll down our activity table and choose from a variety of supplies to build your very own Leprechaun Trap PLAY Kit. Finally, follow our Trivia Trail down the concourse for the chance to spot a real-life leprechaun and his pot of gold!
