Earth Day Celebration – Rotary Botanical Gardens
April 23 | 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
The Children’s Museum of Rock County (CMRC) will be one of the many community partners participating in Rotary Botanical Gardens’ annual Earth Day Celebration. C’mon down for outdoor family and youth activities including games, garden adventures, hands-on projects, and community information! Admission to the Gardens is FREE for the day, as are all the activities described above. Our participation is supported by a generous donation from Pieper Power/Ideal Mechanical. A big ‘thank you’ for their support!
Zoozort Live Animal Shows will also be part of the fun! Zoozort is a wildly unique opportunity to learn about some of the world’s most amazing animals. Marvin the screaming hairy armadillo, Montgomery the python and Harry the tegu are just a few of the animals that will be introduced during this program. Noelle Bezio has been a licensed animal educator since 1990. Her experience working with children of all ages has given her the ability to capture their attention in a story-telling way, teaching about animal behavior, special abilities and habitat. Shows are 30-45mins and will be held at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
All ages are welcome. Admission is $5/person ages 2+. Masks are required for the indoor Zoozort shows. To attend a Zoozort show as part of the Rotary Botanical Gardens Earth Day Celebration, please register via the Rotary Gardens website at: https://rotarybotanicalgardens.org/event/zoozort-live-animal-shows/.
